
One of the worst things is when production lines at Plukon come to a standstill. That's precisely why I work here, to prevent that from happening. I'm currently employed as a metalworker.
Together with my colleagues, we ensure that everything runs smoothly in production. There's plenty to do. The tasks are exciting and varied. Every day is different. You never quite know what's coming. It's all about reacting quickly and finding solutions.
Since technology is right up my alley, I'd like to start an apprenticeship as an industrial mechatronics technician soon. I'm definitely staying at Plukon. There are excellent career opportunities here for mechatronics technicians.

Marco's workday
A key aspect of my work is maintaining the production equipment in the grilling department. Things get particularly busy here during the summer months, so it's crucial that the equipment runs smoothly. We work in two shifts: either from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. or from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The shifts rotate weekly. I find this great because it allows for flexibility in my daily schedule.
Responsible commitment to delicious poultry
Plukon produces a wide variety of poultry products, ready meals, and meal components. This requires efficient operation of the equipment and machinery, and of course, everything must be safely assembled. Working in the technical field is an incredibly responsible job. I like that. I feel very needed and valued here.
